সবাই বলে
অশ্রুকে গড়িয়ে দিতে হয়।
দিয়েছি লক্ষবার।
কষ্ট প্রকাশ করে ভারমুক্ত হতে হয়।
জনে জনে বলেছি অতীত গাঁথা।
হাসিতে লুকাতে হয়ে ক্ষত শত।
সুহাসিনী নামেই লোকে চেনে।
ব্যস্ততার মোড়কে ভুলে গেছি
বহমান সময়ের দাবী।
একান্ত মুখোমুখি হই না সুদীর্ঘ কাল।
তবু না কমলো জলভার,
না কমলো হাহাকার।
দ্বিগুণ হয় রক্তক্ষরণ
একই নিষ্ঠুরতার পুনরাবৃত্তিতে।
এ যেনো অন্তহীন বিষাদের
এক অক্লান্ত ফেরীওয়ালা।

It is the peoples’ suggestion,
Let the tears roll down.
I dropped the tears millions of times.
Release the burden by venting to torment,
Through the ages the savvy people prompt.
Despite the suffering, I shroud my pain perkily,
People know me by the name of Suhashini.
Under the pretext of being impulsive,
Overlooking the request for streaming time,
For a long time, I no longer sit face to face.
Neither reduces the burden of water,
Nor does the power of grief cut.
Bleeding increased by twice,
For the repetition of the same meanness.
As if I had been a tireless
Trader of ceaseless misery.
