#হারাতে চাই#

কখনো সখনো খুব নিভৃতে নিজের সত্বা লুকোতে চাই
তোমায় ছেড়ে ছায়ার মাঝে..রোদের চোখে চোখ ফেরাই
চোখের জলে ভিজবে বলে হাতটি ছুঁয়ে মুখ সরাই...
তোমার গায়ে আষ্টেপৃষ্টে ঘামের মতোই লেপ্টে যাই
এলোমেলো তোমার চুলে হাওয়ার সাথে খেলে যাই
হারিয়ে গেছে গতকাল যে ইচ্ছে গুলো...
সবটা তোমায় বলতে চাই!
অনেক করে তোমায় চিনি...মিথ্যেটাতে বাঁচতে চাই
লুকিয়ে রবো দূর নীলিমায়..তবু কেন আকাশ চাই?
চাঁদের সাথে যার মিতালী...চাতক পাখির হৃদয়খানি
আমি কেবল পিদিমসম,তোমার পথে জলতরঙ্গ.....
আঁধার ঘেরা এক রোশনাই !

I have to lose myself

At times, I have to cover my own character,
Leaving you in the shade,
I look straight at the sun,
Since you are doused with tears,
Touching you with the hands,
I pull back my mouth.

I want to get myself spread
With your body sweat,
Let me play with your tousled hair
Moving with the wind all around.
I would uncover every one of my wants
That I treasured yesterday.

I know consummately well,
I have to live with lies,
I will stow away in the dark blue,
Why should I need the sky?

Your closeness with the moon,
Heart like a swallow,
I look just like an earthen lamp,
A melodic instrument on your way,
An illumination enveloped by the haziness!

  Wow did you translate it. Excellent impressive poetic in translation. Can't read Bengali as Urdu is my mother tongue. Kudos for the poetry.
