আমারা মিলিনি দেহজ উপত্যকায়!
আমারা মিলেছি দুঃখের শেষ সীমানায়!
প্রজাপতির মেলায়, স্বপ্নীল বাসভূমে!
সমুদ্রের উম্মত্ত ঢেউয়ে হয়নি মিলন আমাদের !
আমরা মিলেছি প্রশান্ত জলাশয়ে,
জোছনা সরোবরে!
আমরা মিলেছি;
অনুধাবনে, শান্তিতে, নিঃশেষ ভালবাসায়!
আমরা মিলেছি বাঙ্ময় নীরবতায়!

We have never explored our body valleys!
We met on the threshold of misery!
At the fair of the butterflies, wonderful abode!

We did not meet in the furious waves of the ocean,
Or maybe we are in the soothing lake,
In the tide of the night, pond glow!
We did meet
In interest, peace and perennial love!
