প্রয়োজন ছাড়া কিছুই করতে ইচ্ছে করেনা
কথা বলতে ইচ্ছে করেনা
হাসতে ইচ্ছে করেনা
কাঁদতে ইচ্ছে করেনা
ক্লান্তি ভরা চোখেও ঘুমাতে ইচ্ছে করেনা !
হাঁটতেও ইচ্ছে করেনা !
সব উচ্ছাস কোথায় যেন হারিয়ে যায় !
সব ভালোবাসার অনুভুতিরা চুপসে যায় !
সব ঘৃনা ক্ষোভও কোথায় বিলীন হয়ে যায় !
কোন অভিযোগ থাকেনা !
কোন প্রয়োজনবোধ হয়না !
শুধু মনে হয় খুব প্রিয়, খুব আপন কেউ পাশে বসে
মাথায় হাতটি রেখে বলতো —
“ এই যে আমি তো পাশেই আছি।
যে কোনদিন যাবেনা, তুই বকলেও না, রাগ করলেও না !
আয়, আমার কোলে মাথাটা রাখ,
মাথায় হাত বুলিয়ে দিই ? ঘুমাবি?
চল, দুরে কোথাও ঘুরে আসি । যাবি ? “

Nonsensical thoughts

Here and there, I cannot have
My heart on doing anything,
Save a few basic chores.
I am not willing to speak.
From time to time,
I do not want to laugh,
I do not want to cry either.
I do not crave for rest,
No matter whether my
Worn eyelids hang down!

I do not intend to go for a walk.
My enthusiasms are gone somewhere!
All my sappiness braked!
All my disdain and pain are diminishing,
I have no complaint whatsoever,
I do not feel any need either.

Random of this one person
Dear and caring would sit
Next to me and keep hands
On my head say, "I am so close to you.
I will not desert you even if you
Yell at me or taunt me!
Go ahead keep your head on my lap.
Would it be better for me to rub your head?
Wanna catch some sleep?
We should go on a trip far away,
Won’t you go with me? "
