তুমি চাইলে, আমি মেঘদূত
মেঘেদের সাথে সখ্যতা ভীষন
হতে পারি বুক পকেটে--নীল খাম।
তুমি চাইলে আমি,সরিষা ক্ষেত
হরিদ্রাভ অংগে হতে পারি
ঋতুরাজ,বসন্ত--
দারুন ক্ষরায়।
তুমি চাইলেই,আমি দিগন্ত জোড়া
সোনা ফলা সবুজ,ধানক্ষেত,
লাল টকটকে রৌদ্র কপালে
আমিই মানচিত্র,বাংলাদেশ।
তুমি চাইলেই, আমি আবার আমি হতে পারি
হাতে নিয়ে স্বপ্নের ডালি,
কুড়াতে পারি, সুখের নূড়ি
সুখ সাগরে ভাসিয়ে নাও,
নোঙর আমার তুমি!
শুধু তুমি চাইলেই কেবল
আমি আবার নীড়পাতা
নীলাম্বরী শাড়ী জড়িয়ে
সাপের মাথার
নীলকান্তমনি!!!!
