একেকটা রাত বড় বেরসিক
বুকের কাছে তিলতিল ভাঙ্গে
ময়ূর পেখমে আঁকা একেবারে স্বচ্ছ কিছু স্বপ্ন
মোমবাতি নারী কর্পুরসম
ভঙ্গুর স্বত্বা
কারো আকাশ হৃদয়ে মেঘ হতে চায়
নিজের একটা টুকরো কাউকে দিয়ে পূর্ণ হতে চায়
ভাগের মানুষ নারী ভুলে যায়
শ্যাওলা হাতের নির্ভরতা পাওয়ার নয়
রাত পেরুলে পাথর হতে হবে
আড়াল হতে হবে কুয়াশায়
ভাঙ্গা টুকরো গুলো ফের জুড়ে নেয়ার সময় শেষ.

Humorless Nights

Every night turns out to be bleak,
Crashing heart piece by piece,
Looks like undeniable dreams
Painted on peacock quills!
Candles and girls are like camphor,
So sensitive and fragile!
The heart of someone wants to be a cloud,
With the intention of being complete,
By giving her lover a part.
The woman tends to reject the split man.
The moss growing in his hand proves
Too slippery for her to rely on.
She has to change into rocks at night,
Conceal her in the thick fog,
Since she has no time to join
The broken pieces once again.
