As you have always obeyed,
Not only in my presence;
Fear and trembling not dismayed,
Working it out in essence.
It is God who works in you,
Both to will and good pleasure;
In everything that you do,
Resulting in His treasure.
Do all things without grumbling,
Not to argue or dispute;
Without question or mumbling,
Rather ways to execute.
Be blameless and innocent,
Without blemish in this world;
Shining lights with resilient,
Though the insults will be hurled.
Hold fast to the Word of life,
That the day of Christ be proud;
Labor not in vain or strife,
Rather just what God allowed.
If I am poured as a drink,
Offered to be sacrificed;
Please allow your faith to think,
Your performance is for Christ.
Likewise you also be glad,
For the same cause to have joy;
The hope from God is iron-clad,
In your thoughts that you employ.
