A prisoner for the Lord,
I urge you to walk worthy;
And be in one accord,
As you follow His decree.

A manner of the calling.
As to which you have been called;
For avoiding your falling,
That has been making you flawed.

Be humbled with gentleness,
Loving of one another;
With patience and godliness,
Sharing peace with each other.

Endeavor in unity,
Unity of the Spirit;
Maintaining the charity,
For bonding in your merit.

One body and one Spirit.
As being called to one hope;
Of that which you inherit,
As you continue to cope.

One baptism in one Lord,
One faith in the triune God;
That His Word is not ignored,
Uphold to honor and laud.

One God and Father of all,
Who is over all to reign;
When asked He answers the call,
To comfort and relieve pain.

Grace was given to each one,
According to the measure;
Of the gift from Christ His Son,
A gift that we should treasure.

When He ascended on high,
He led a host of captives;
Giving gifts to glorify,
When they confess, He forgives.

Because He had ascended,
But what does it really mean;
That He also descended,
Lower regions He had been.

Who descended is the One,
Who ascended far above;
The King of kings is the Son,
And will fill all things with love.
