The Lord God of Hosts has a day,
Of tumult and the confusion;
For anyone who disobey,
Tread in the valley of vision.

A battering down of the walls,
Unto the mountains a shouting;
Until it tumbles as it falls,
Because of feeling of doubting.

As Elam bore with the quiver,
With chariots and the horsemen;
As the winds cause them to shiver,
Kir uncovered the shield again.

Your choicest valley chariots full,
The horsemen took stand at the gates;
Obedient to who does rule,
Upon the command each one waits.

For the Lord has taken away,
The covering over Judah;
You look to weapons in that day,
While you await for a call.

You have also seen the breaches,
Collecting water from the pool;
Remembering what God teaches,
Avoiding in being the fool.

Count houses of Jerusalem,
Broke down some to fortify wall;
Strengthening not to condemn,
Because where weak it will not fall.

A reservoir between two walls,
With water collected from the pool;
But ignoring when the Lord calls,
Which has been making you the fool.

In that day the Lord God of Host,
Called for weeping and mourning;
Wears sackcloth no longer to boast,
Tearing of eyes without warning.

The Lord of Host revealed in my ears,
Surely this is iniquity;
Purged till death within your fears,
Building spirituality.
