The Lord God is taking away,
Of our support and supply;
All support of bread gone astray,
Support of water has gone dry.

The mighty man and the soldier,
As well as the judge and prophet;
The elder and the diviner,
Have been hiding in a closet.

The captain of fifty humbled men,
The men of honorable rank;
The counselor and magician,
The expert in charms makes them clank.

God will make the boys princes,
While infants rule over them;
Although an elder convinces,
Any sinner they should condemn.

People oppress one another,
Everyone of their neighbors;
Fighting brother against brother,
Having abnormal behaviors.

The youth insolent to elders,
The honorable are despised;
Rebelling are just reminders,
How the children are ill-advised.

For when a man has taken hold,
His brother of his father’s house;
A heap of ruins will unfold,
And taking of his brother’s spouse.

He has a cloak and a leader,
This heap of ruins he shall rule;
No longer being a pleader,
Thinking that he is not the fool.

He will never be a healer,
There is neither bread nor a cloak;
But bending knees as a kneeler,
As his confessions that he spoke.

Looking on faces bears witness,
Proclaiming sin, they cannot hide;
Increasing spiritual fitness,
Unto the Lord God to abide.
