See with what large poems that I write,
Writing to you with my own hand;
Inspired by God whose insight,
Comprehending to His command.

It is those who would like to make,
Show in the flesh of who would force;
To be circumcised for their sake,
Not be oppressed to stay the course.

Only in order that they may not,
Not persecuted for the cross;
Circumcision as to be sought,
Instead of Jesus and His loss.

Even those who are circumcised,
Do not themselves will keep the Law;
False prophets that have ill-advised,
How to erase a mortal flaw.

They desire you circumcised,
In the flesh so that they may boast;
So that it can be emphasized,
Being righteously the utmost.

But far be it from me to boast,
Except in the cross of the Lord;
Because of the Holy Ghost,
I will remain in one accord.

For the world has been crucified,
And I have been unto this place;
Because I have been purified,
Through Jesus Christ upon His grace.

Circumcision counts for nothing,
Except as a new creation;
As with your righteousness will bring,
In giving you your salvation.

As for all who walk by this rule,
Peace and mercy be upon them;
Never considered as a fool,
That God would not try to condemn.

Henceforth, let no one trouble me,
For I bear the marks of the Lord;
Anyone who does will then see,
Performing the wrath of His sword.

May the grace of Jesus Christ,
Our Lord be with your spirit;
Think of why He was sacrificed,
And of what you will inherit.
