The plans of the heart,
Belong to a man;
That the tongue will start,
Straying towards Satan.

The ways of a man,
Are pure in his eyes;
But not to the plan,
To God who sees lies.

God weighs your spirit,
Your work to the Lord,
Judging on merit,
If in one accord.

Your plans will be set,
All for its purpose;
But not growing debt,
Causing more trespass.

Someone having pride,
Will disgust the Lord;
They cannot provide,
Studying the Word.

But by steadfast love,
All sin is atoned;
From the Lord above,
Where He is enthroned.

The fear of the Lord,
Turns away evil;
Blocked from being lured,
Tempts from the devil.

When you please the Lord,
If you changed your way;
Be in one accord,
Not to go astray.

The Lord makes His foes,
For feeling at peace;
Because what He knows,
Aggression will cease.

Best for righteousness,
Than great revenues;
For the Lord will bless,
Righteous life to choose.
