I believed, even when I spoke,
For I was greatly afflicted;
Since I was able to invoke,
From this sin being addicted.

Because I said in my alarm,
That all of mankind are just liars;
That their deceit willing to harm,
So that they have their desires.

What shall I render to the Lord,
For all His benefits to me;
As I remain in one accord,
He delivers insight to see.

I lift the cup of salvation,
And call on the name of the Lord;
Because He is my foundation,
That can never to be ignored.

I will pay my vows to the Lord,
In the presence of His people;
To worship as He is adored,
Together within His temple.

Precious in the sight of the Lord,
With the death of each of His saints;
But that we have been reassured,
That they still live without restraints.

I am your devoted servant,
Knowing that you have loosed my bonds;
I feel intense also fervent,
As I listen your voice responds.

I will offer my sacrifice,
Of thanksgiving calling Your name;
Not letting this place to entice,
As I shout so I can proclaim.

To the Lord I pay my vows,
In the presence of His people;
Doing all the Your Law allows,
Remembering of the Gospel.

I think in the courts of Your house,
While pondering in Your midst;
Sitting together with my spouse,
Along with other saints amidst.

To the Lord what shall I render,
For His benefits given to me;
For salvation I surrender,
While I pray on bended knee.
