I must go on boasting,
Though nothing to be gained;
As I go on posting,
Since Jesus cleaned where stained.

I go on to visions,
Revealing of the Lord;
They are not illusions,
And cannot be ignored.

I know a man in Christ,
Who many years ago;
Whose life was sacrificed,
Heaven bound did go.

Whether experience,
That was or not a dream;
It was true radiance,
For so real as to seem.

And I know that this man,
Caught up to paradise;
I heard things of a plan,
Why Jesus paid the price.

Things that cannot be told,
Which man cannot utter;
A plan that is so bold,
To make people mutter.

So, on behalf of him,
Because of his weakness;
Through my spiritual vim,
Overcomes my meekness.

If I should wish to boast,
I would not be a fool;
For through the Holy Ghost,
I speak the golden rule.

But I refrain from it,
So that no one may think;
Liquor was a culprit,
To excessively drink.

His grace is sufficient,
The power of the thorn;
For God is omniscient,
Strengthened me when reborn.
