For whom I love and long for,
Standing firm thus in the Lord;
Crown and joy that I adore,
My beloved in one accord.

I entreat you to agree,
To love the Lord our God;
To nourish you when hungry,
But thirst to honor and laud.

I ask as a companion,
To help those who have labored;
Remain in perfect union,
So that you will be favored.

We have labored side by side,
In the Gospel together;
Having others to abide,
Everywhere we gather.

With the rest of the doers,
As named in the Book of Life;
Of the Word as pursuers,
While coping with the strife.

Rejoice in the Lord always,
Again, I will say rejoice;
Sing to the Lord giving praise,
Singing out loud with your voice.

Let your modesty be known,
Be known to everyone;
Of the Lord sits on His throne,
Marvel at what He has done.

Because the Lord is at hand,
Be not anxious about things;
Praying the place where you stand,
The supplication it beings.

The peace of God to exceed,
All human understanding;
As your heart and mind concede,
To what Christ is demanding.

Whatsoever things are true,
Whatever is just and pure;
Through Jesus you must pursue,
Being able to endure.

Of those things that you have learned,
Having received, heard and seen;
From the God of peace, you earned,
Practice these things that have been.
