Ministry is by grace of God,
We faint not and do not lose heart;
Renounce all else not to laud,
Underhanded ways to depart.

Refuse to tamper with God’s Word,
Practicing the deceitful ways;
Only the truth that shall be heard,
That only the conscience obeys.

Even if the Gospel is hid,
It is hid to those that are lost;
And those who perish God forbid,
Their sacrifice is at a cost.

In their case the god of this earth,
Has blinded the unbelievers;
For as their playfulness and mirth,
Caused them to be non-receivers.

Receiving not the Gospel light,
And the glory of Jesus Christ;
The image of God for insight,
Since the earthly things have enticed.

It’s not ourselves we proclaim,
Rather that Jesus Christ is Lord;
As those for the sake of His name,
Servants who have loved and adored.

Let your light shine out of darkness,
Shining in your heart to give light;
The knowledge exposing starkness,
The glory in truth that shines bright.
