What’s the origin of wisdom?
Where’s the place of understanding?
It’s hidden from eyes of boredom,
Concealed from those who’s demanding

It hides from eyes of the living,
Concealed from the birds of the air;
Unseen by those not forgiving,
Unreached by those who do not share.

For death and destruction will say,
We heard the fame with our ears;
Since the Lord understands the way,
And He knows its place in your fears.

He looks to the ends of the earth,
And sees all things under Heaven;
When He gave to the wind its worth,
The weight of water is given.

He made a decree for the rain,
A way for lightning and thunder;
That water will nourish the grain,
Being rooted deep down under.

God had seen and He declared it,
He established and searched it out;
Man could profit from His merit,
From a harvest without a doubt.

The fear of the Lord is wisdom,
Avoid evil is perception;
It is kept up in God’s Kingdom,
And seizes Satan’s deception.
