I thank God remembering you,
Always in every prayer of mine;
All making my prayer I construe,
With the joy beaming from sunshine.
Your fellowship in the Gospel,
From the first day up until now;
He began good work for people,
The day Christ Jesus took a vow.
It’s right for me to feel this way,
Because I hold you in my heart;
Partakers of grace who obey,
In defense of bonds to impart.
For confirming of the Gospel,
By the partakers of my grace;
God’s my witness to the people,
Christ’s affection gives His embrace.
