I remind you to fan the flame,
Which is in you from lay of hands;
And continue as you proclaim,
As to what the Father commands.

God gave a Spirit not of fear,
But of power and a sound mind;
Not one of shame but to revere,
With the love to be humbly kind.

Testify of the suffering,
And the power of the Gospel;
Jesus is there for buffering,
To comfort and soothe the people.

He saves with a holy calling,
Not because of our merit;
But of grace in our falling,
Partaking what we inherit.

Now has been made manifested,
Appearance of Christ as Savior;
Brought to life and invested,
Immortality for your favor.

Through poetry as a preacher,
And why I suffer as I do;
An apostle and a teacher,
Proclaim the Gospel to pursue.

For I know who I have believed,
And convinced enabled to guard;
Till that day when I have received,
The salvation as my reward.

Follow the pattern of the sound,
The words that you have heard from me;
The faith and love that is abound;
From Christ Jesus been shown to see.

The Holy Spirit dwells within,
For guarding the good deposit;
Entrusted to you to block sin,
That has been locked in a closet.
