Lonely Wealth

I saw conceit under the sun,
One person who has no other;
No end to toil had been done,
Neither of a son or brother.
His eyes are never satisfied,
With the riches from His labor;
His pleasure has been deprived,
Vanity comes from his neighbor.
Two are always better than one,
For their labor has good rewards;
But woe to whom that has no son,
Not able to share in accords.
If one falls another can aid,
But woe to him who feels downcast;
Alone in the dark you’re afraid,
Causing the heart in beating fast.
If two lie together they’re warm,
But by one self they will feel cold;
Which would be considered the norm,
As the night would start to unfold.
Although a person might prevail,
Against one who would be alone;
But against one two would assail,
Injuries would cause him to moan.
