The days are nigh declares the Lord,
When He makes a new covenant;
When Israel in one accord,
With Judah a new concordat.

Not like the covenant that day,
In Egypt with their fathers;
Another to trust and obey,
And honor sisters and brothers.

This covenant that He will make,
He will put His Law in their heart;
In their minds and not to forsake,
For lips and tongue, they will impart.

Because they shall be His people,
No longer shall each one to teach;
To hear His Word in His temple,
And only His chosen to preach.

Know the Lord for they shall know God,
From the least up to the greatest;
He forgives iniquity if laud,
Forgets their sin for those who trust.
