I call God and He will save me,
Evening, morning and at noon;
I will pray and cry out my plea,
Knowing that He will hear me soon.

I utter my complaint and moan,
And the Lord is hearing my sound;
He redeems my soul to atone,
My confession bestowed abound.

From the battle that I had waged,
Many are arrayed against me;
God has sent His wrath that have raged,
The enemies He caused to flee.

God will give ear and humble them,
He who is enthroned from of old;
Their hardened hearts He will condemn,
If they’re still arrogant and bold.

My companion stretched out His hand,
To those who broke His commandment;
And crushing them where they did stand,
Without having an atonement.

His speech was as smooth as butter,
Yet war was still within their heart;
The angered words they did utter,
Swords drawn were sharpened to part.

Cast your burdens unto the Lord,
He shall substantiate for you;
He will not let you be ignored,
The righteousness the you pursue.
