To whom will He teach knowledge?
Those who are weaned from the milk,
Who will He tell the message?
Those who will be dressed in silk.

Those who suckle from the breast,
For precept upon precept;
Had been nursing from the chest,
Line upon line they accept.

Here a little, there slightly,
Comes from a stammering tongue;
Foreign tongue God speaks lightly,
The Word of the Lord are flung.

Give rest unto the weary,
Yet none of them will not hear;
Their days are dark and dreary,
They seem of not having fear.

The Word of the Lord will be,
Of precept upon precept;
Here a little, there slightly,
Line upon line they accept.

So that maybe they will go,
Fall backward and be broken;
And snared where they do not know,
To where Satan has taken.
