We are always of good courage,
Knowing that while we’re at home;
No desire to discourage,
Another that I have seen roam.

In body away from the Lord,
We walk by faith and not by sight;
Confidence has not been ignored,
Present with the Lord to delight.

Willing rather being absent,
From the body but with the Lord;
For He is the Omniscient,
To whom we have loved and adored.

Whether we are home or away,
We make it our aim to please;
Obedient and not to stray,
On the land or out on the seas.

We must appear before Jesus Christ,
When He sits on the judgment seat;
To be judged on times enticed,
Whether good or bad when you meet.
