My soul is clinging to the dust,
Give me life granted by Your Word;
I have declared my ways to trust,
You answered me for what I heard.

Teach me the way of Your statutes,
Help me understand Your precepts;
I meditate Your wondrous fruits,
As I marvel at Your concepts.

My soul melts away with sorrow,
Strengthen me as per Your Word;
Give me the hope for tomorrow,
For Your Word is firmly anchored.

Remove from me the lying ways,
Graciously teaching me of Your Law;
Guide me on the path that obeys,
Impeding me from any flaw.

I have chosen the way of truth,
Your judgments have laid before me;
Abolish the ways of my youth,
Guide me with Your insight to see.

I cling to your testimonies,
Allow me not be put to shame;
Any who preach that are phonies,
Expose them that falsely proclaim.

I will run the way of Your Law,
Your commandments enlarge my heart;
They have shown me what You foresaw,
To run the course as I impart.
