For just as the body is one,
One body has many members;
So is Jesus who is the Son,
That each one of us remembers.

We were baptized in one Spirit,
Into one body made to think;
Neither Greek or Jew through merit,
All of us that were made to drink.

Many members that does consist,
The foot is made for us to walk;
Just as the ear and eye exist,
The lips and the tongue lets us talk.

The eyes guide us that we can see,
As the nose allows us to smell;
All parts work together to be,
Of a danger that maybe dwell.

God arranged them each one He chose,
A single member for each part;
Because even as the mind knows,
They will work as one for the heart.
