Flee your youthful lustful passion,
And pursue righteousness and love;
Having a pure heart to fashion,
In faith on what is up above.

Avoid foolish stupid questions,
And ignorant controversy;
They will breed discord intentions,
Producing wrath without mercy.

The Lord’s servant must never strive,
But be gentle and apt to teach;
Enduring evil that would drive,
Being patiently as they reach.

Be in meekness instructing those,
Recovering out of the snare;
Grant repentance who did oppose,
To acknowledge the truth, you share.

Maybe they come to their senses,
Escape from snares of the devil;
And buildup of their defenses,
For blocking darkness and evil.
