Today, if you hear His voice,
Try not to harden your heart;
Rather be glad and rejoice,
Letting your lips to impart.
On the day of the conquest,
Rise not in the wilderness;
You have been put to the test,
God assured that He did bless.
You wandered for forty years,
Provoked God with all your heart;
You did not know of the fears,
The power that He can thwart.
As He did swear in His wrath,
You shall not enter His rest;
Assuring that He blocks your path,
Because you have failed the test.
