I have done what is just and right,
Don’t leave me to my oppressors;
I desire to be a delight,
Not be left to the transgressors.

Give your servant a pledge of good,
That the insolent oppress me;
Letting me know of what I should,
The direction I need to be.

My eyes long for Your salvation,
The fulfillment of Your promise;
Righteous words builds my foundation,
To live as per to Your justice.

Deal with your servant with mercy,
According to Your steadfast love;
Teach me statutes to oversee,
In being a blessing thereof.

Please give me the understanding,
That I may know your testaments;
About what You are demanding,
To partake in your sacraments.

For it is time for You to act,
Because Your Law has been broken;
Since it’s having such an impact,
On everything You have spoken.

Therefore, Your commandments I love,
I consider Your precepts right;
More than fine gold from up above,
Because it gives me more insight.
