You were once alienated,
And hostile with evil deeds;
Your mind was deteriorated,
Scriptural thoughts your mind impedes.
Now you have been reconciled,
For this body been put to death;
Holy and no longer defiled,
Christ has given you a new breath.
Continue in faith and stable,
Not shifting from hope you have heard;
Another tale a mere fable,
Keep the Gospel as the true Word.
It’s preached and has been proclaimed,
To all creatures under Heaven;
And never should I be ashamed,
Of what Christ Jesus has given.
