Praise unto the Lord, O my soul,
Praising Him as long as I live;
I will sing praises to extol,
My faith is remaining active.

Put not your trust into princes,
In whom there is no salvation;
Beware of someone convinces,
That God does not have compassion.

When His breath departs, He returns,
On that day His thoughts will perish;
As that day that everyone learns,
Things disappear that you cherish.

Bless of those whose help in the Lord,
Whose hope is in the Lord his God;
Let not His blessings be ignored,
Always giving honor and laud.

For He has made Heaven and earth,
The sea and all that is in them;
To multiply by giving birth,
Keeping the faith not to condemn.

For faith and truth lasts forever,
He makes judgment for the oppressed;
Compassion that will not sever,
Comforting those who are depressed.
