I bless the Lord who gives counsel,
In the night my heart instructs me;
He is able to go cancel,
All of Satan’s corrupt decree.

I have set the Lord before me,
Because He is at my right hand;
I will never be shaken free,
In being firm to where I stand.

Therefore, my heart always be glad,
And my whole being rejoices;
My flesh dwells secure and not sad,
In hearing such happy voices.

For the Lord will not abandon,
Forsaken not my soul to hell;
Grateful to His hand beholden,
Within me God will always dwell.

God makes known to me of my path,
The joy fulfills in His presence;
He is sparing me from the wrath,
As He blesses me in essence.

At His right hand are His pleasures,
My path of life the Lord will guide;
For knowing about the treasures,
Awaiting me as I abide.
