You keep God in a perfect place,
Whose mind has been staying on you;
Because He trusts and gives you grace,
Since you have been faithful and true.

Keep trust in the Lord forever,
For He’s an everlasting rock;
God will not depart or sever,
His bonds with you where you may walk.

The Lord is everlasting strength,
And has humbled that dwell on high;
The saints have persevered at length,
To the lofty city hereby.

The Lord lays it low to the ground,
He brings it even to the dust;
Silence falls upon without sound,
The saints have put their faith and trust.

The foot shall tread feet of the poor,
And taking steps of the needy;
Because they are righteously pure,
And are not lustful or greedy.

The path of the just is righteous,
The just is upright to be level;
Dost weighing the path of justice,
As righteousness avoids evil.
