The Ancient of Days Reigns

I saw till the thrones were cast down;
The Ancient of Days took his seat,
I saw He wore a long white gown,
A pair of sandals on His feet.

His clothing was as white as snow,
And His hair was like a pure fleece;
His throne gave a fiery glow,
Wheels of fire that would not cease.

A fiery stream issue came,
Thousands of thousands came to wait;
The court of judgment did proclaim,
As the books were opened for their fate.

Great words sounded as the horn spoke,
The beast was slain and was destroyed;
Burnt by the fire to invoke,
Smoke from the beast filling the void.

Their district was taken away,
But lives were prolonged for a time;
Since God saw that they did obey,
And were forgiven of their crime.
