You were once alienated,
And hostile in your mind;
The righteous you had hated,
evil deeds done to spellbind.

You now have reconciled,
By the death of Jesus Christ;
Your old self was defiled,
Not for yourself be enticed.

Present yourself as holy,
Blameless and beyond reproach;
In His sight being lowly,
Letting Christ to be your coach.

Let faith to remain steadfast,
Shifting not what you have heard;
Letting doubt never to cast,
Of the Gospel of the Word.

In which was preached to each one,
Proclaimed to all creation;
Jesus is the Father’s Son,
Who grants to you salvation.
