He came and preached peace unto you,
You were far off but peace was near;
All of that He said has been true,
As He should be loved to revere.

For through Him we both have access,
To the Father in one Spirit;
No more strangers when we confess,
Through actions what we say and merit.

No longer foreigners to God,
But fellow citizens with the saints;
No longer will completely flawed,
Not aliens under restraints.

We are built on the foundation,
Of the apostles and prophets;
Christ gives the stabilization,
The cornerstone with the merits.

Christ, who the entire structure,
As framed and joined together;
Grows as per the Holy Scripture,
As His temple for to gather.

In Him you too are being built,
By His Spirit a dwelling place;
Where you have been made free of guilt,
Given by God mercy and grace.
