I give thanks unto You, O Lord,
Praising You with my whole heart;
Giving You laud being adored,
As Your Word my lips do impart.

I worship inside Your temple,
Give thanks for Your steadfast love;
Your faithfulness to Your people,
Blessings flowing from up above.

During the day when I have cried,
You answered with strength to my soul;
The feeling to be sanctified,
Hearing Your Word as to console.

All the kings of the earth thank You,
For they have heard Your Holy Word;
From Your mouth the words that hold true,
Their inspiration has been stirred.

They sing of the ways of the Lord,
For great is the glory of God;
Singing of praise in one accord,
That is giving honor and laud.

The Lord is high being Holy,
The haughty He knows from afar;
He respects the meek and lowly,
But the proud casts to a burnt star.

I walk in the midst of trouble,
While You have preserved my life;
Shielding me from all the rubble,
That comes from in the midst of strife.

You stretch Your hand against the wrath,
That my enemies have brought forth;
Saving me by blocking their path,
As they retreat back to the north.

The Lord has fulfilled His purpose,
Your mercy shows His steadfast love;
With His faithfulness and justice,
Never be forsaken thereof.
