That which was from the beginning,
Which we have seen with our eyes;
That saved us from our sinning,
The Word of life has made us wise.

We looked and touched his hands and feet,
As the life had been manifest;
Proclaiming that death in defeat,
For eternal life in a conquest.

In which we have seen and have heard,
Proclaimed to the Father through Christ;
Having fellowship with the Word,
That the Son had been sacrificed.

These things that I write unto you.
That your joy may become complete;
A joy may be full what is true,
Be abundant not to deplete.
