How long will He forget me?
How long will He hide His face?
I have been longing to see,
His glory and flowing grace.

How long must I take counsel,
In my soul and have sorrow;
How long shall my foes hassle,
Speaking words that are shallow.

Light up my eyes to my Lord,
Lest I sleep the sleep of death;
Let me not to be ignored,
Not to wait till my last breath.

My enemies have prevailed,
They rejoice for I’m shaken;
Although I have bewailed,
My daughters they have taken.

I trusted in His steadfast love,
My heart exults His salvation;
His blessings flowing thereof,
Makes a Divine foundation.

I will sing unto the Lord,
For He has dealt boundlessly;
I remain in one accord,
Pursuing Him zealously.
