As with the Lord one day,
Is like a thousand years;
Time seemed to drift away,
No more sadness or fears.

But the Lord is not slow,
To fulfill His promise;
For His blessings will flow,
Bringing about justice.

He is patient toward you,
Wishing not to perish;
If repentance is true,
Eternal life cherish.

The day of the Lord soon,
Comes like a thief at night;
Heaven roars from the moon,
Brings a fiery light.

Since all things have dissolved,
Who lives in holiness;
Iniquities absolved,
To live in godliness.

Wait for the day of God,
Heaven will see fire;
Melting what has been flawed,
Newness to acquire.

Fervent heat melts the earth,
As Heaven fades away;
Giving of a new birth,
Dawning of a new day.

A new earth and Heaven,
In which righteousness stays;
A place He has given,
That His people bring praise.
