When poor and needy seek waters,
And their tongue has been parched with thirst;
God forsakes not sons or daughters,
Whom has pleaded with the Lord first.

The Lord will open the rivers,
In the midst of valleys fountains;
The cool water that brings shivers,
That’s flowing down from the mountains.

Pools of water makes the wild,
Springs of water to the dry land;
Where beasts come frail and mild,
And away from the burning sand.

The Lord will plant cedar and pine,
And set in the desert cypress;
Enchanted in being Divine,
Because of the land He will bless.

So that they may see also know,
Believe to realize together;
That the hand of the Lord can show,
What the Holy One can gather.
