The righteousness of God,
Manifested apart;
From the Law that you laud,
Bears witness to the heart.

Through faith the righteousness,
In Christ if you believe;
No distinction to bless,
From God that you receive.

No flesh be justified,
Through the knowledge of sin;
Why Christ was crucified,
For the wrongs that have been.

All have sinned and fall short,
Of the glory of God;
Fault verdict in His court,
But pardoned from where flawed.

Redemption that’s in Christ,
Justified by His grace;
A gift that has enticed,
When He starts to embrace.

His blood when you repent,
By faith you have received,
Formed a new covenant,
Past sin no more perceived.

Righteousness at this time,
Through faith in Christ to just;
By confessing your crime,
Through Him you fully trust.
