I will glorify You, O Lord,
Because You have lifted me up;
I have let my foes be ignored,
From poison you put in their cup.

Let my foes rejoice over me,
I cried for help and You have healed;
I was blind but You made me see,
For the mysteries are revealed.

You have brought up my soul from hell,
And You have restored me to life;
For beside You that I will dwell,
Since You protect me from the strife.

I sing praises to You O Lord,
Giving thanks to Your holy name;
Help me to be in one accord,
As I go out for to proclaim.

For Your anger just a moment,
But a lifetime for Your favor;
Sparing the wrath that would torment,
Since I know You are my Savior.

For a night, weeping I endure,
But the joy comes with the morning;
Because Your touch will be my cure,
After discipline and Your scorning.
