It gets better with time.
First, it’s a crazy drive,
Which you try to survive.
Then, comes another phase,
Poetic paraphrase,
Of compliments and such.
With them come kiss and touch.
Productively to live,
You have something to give.
Then only, you can love.
It’s sent straight from above.
I’m boarding a new ship,
Of new relationship.
I hope in it to stay,
Until my final day.
