I remind you to rekindle,
The gift from God that you possess;
Since you are being a model,
To bring you spiritual success.

God gives not a spirit of fear,
But of power and self-control;
Of a love that cherishes dear,
So, He can inhabit your soul.

Be not ashamed to testify,
About our Lord or of me;
Never to think of to deny,
The loyalty your faith can be.

By His power accept your share,
Of suffering for the Gospel;
Showing others that you do care,
As you tell all of the people.

He is the One who has saved us,
Called us with a holy calling;
Not based on our works as thus,
But His aim for grace befalling.

As granted before time began,
But now has been made visible;
Through the appearing in His plan,
That Jesus is invincible.

For He broke the power of death,
Brought life and immorality;
The Gospel enlightens each breath,
Raising spiritually.

For I was appointed to preach,
And poetically proclaim;
Gospel poetry as an out-reach,
While glorifying His name.

Because of this I do suffer,
But I will never be ashamed;
Knowing that Christ is my buffer,
Whenever He has been proclaimed.

For I know the One I believe,
In whom that my faith has been set;
Convinces me what I receive,
A reward not begotten yet.

Hold to the standard of sound word,
Protected and entrusted source;
Through the Holy Spirit as heard,
Remaining on the narrow course.
