"WANDERING SOULS 2

Sometimes I wonder how the sands of eternity feel beneath ones feet. The warmth of a gentle tide against ones flesh and blood. Is it possible our dreams are the bridge we cross every night but only halfway to this labyrinth of heavenly shores? To face our virtues of humanity only to be turned away and returned to this world? Would we recognize ourselves beyond the mirrors in our life? Our family, our friends?
I find myself in a shallow tide of blue swirling around my feet as the granules wash past my toes. Earthly green around me. Feeling it wash out beneath my weight of existence. To reveal all that I am and have given to this world.
I stand in soulless wonder at myself. How does my life carry out its purpose when witnessing the demise and dust of another living being. Related through the same life blood of conception to witness and travel this world of poetic landscape. For such a short time we have on this beautiful island in the galaxy of stars. A mystery I behold and bequeath unto my sister's humble spirit.
Wisdom of soul I seek in my footsteps. We should recognize the rarity of two who share a vision of life as one and to cherish it. Protect its sovereignty and nourish it when it is suffering. We will never fully understand the realms of our reality and dreams but follow in its light of guidance and draw strength and fortitude from its eternal spirit of aloha.
