Put away malice and deceit,
Hypocrisy and all slander;
Evil speakings that would defeat,
From God that makes you meander.

Stop trying to be envious,
That has been causing much guile,
You need not to act so jealous,
About another lifestyle.

As a newborn babe drink your milk.
Light and spiritual to mature;
That is flowing as smooth as silk,
For keeping you righteously pure.

Grow in a solid salvation,
When you have a taste in the Lord;
Which is building a foundation,
For becoming in one accord.

As when you are coming to Him,
To the words of the living stone;
You will feel the spiritual vim,
The Father favors to condone.

But many others will reject,
You being chosen by the Lord;
Disallowed showing disrespect,
In the past that they ignored.

In his sight chosen and precious,
You will be like a living stone;
Being part of the church as thus,
Because the past you will atone.

For the holy priesthood as part,
Offering as a sacrifice;
Giving God all within your heart,
No longer this world to entice.

Jesus Christ is the cornerstone,
Whoever believes be not shame;
For through you must let it be known,
For being able to proclaim.

At one time you were not people,
For having His mercy and grace;
But as chosen through the Gospel,
God has given His sweet embrace.
