I had a great time today,
It was the start of the day.
You came in and said: “Hello!”
Your face then started to glow.
We sat in the backyard,
No feelings of ours were hard.
Each of us got a new friend.
I hope for this not to end.
Each morning and every day,
I hope to be like today.
I hope, together we stay.
No one can break us away.
