ইচ্ছে জাগে, আর্তনাদে বিদীর্ণ করি মহাকাশ,
ধরনীর বুক চৌচির করে বেরিয়ে আসুক অশ্রুজল,
প্রশ্নে প্রশ্নে জর্জরিত করি তোমাদের,আজ যারা বাস করছো নির্লিপ্তিতে সকল প্রশ্নের উর্ধ্বে !
বলো, কি স্বার্থে চালিয়েছিলে লাঙ্গলের ফলা,
ক্ষতবিক্ষত হলদে জমিনে,
উজ্জ্বল প্রজাপতি ডানায় সংবরণ করতে পারোনি আগ্রাসী লোভ ! ছিঁড়ে তাই উড়িয়ে দিলে হাওয়ায়?
অপেক্ষায় কাটিয়েছি যে পাঁচটি বারো মাস,
প্রিয় হাতের স্পর্শ থেকে অর্থ শ্রেয়,
এই আপ্তবাক্যে করেছিলে উজাড়, আমার বিশ্বাস।
কেন পারবেনা জেনেও করেছিলে অঙ্গীকার পাশে থাকার?
ক্ষমা চাওয়াটা ছিল নিতান্তই অনুভবহীন দুটো শব্দ!
একটা গোটা মানবী ধ্বংসস্তুপে পরিণত হওয়ার পর, এটুকুই কি ছিল যথেষ্ট?
আজ আমি উত্তর চাইলে বাঁধে বিপত্তি,হা হা করে তেড়ে আসো তুমি আজব শহর,
শকুনের মতো থাবা গেড়ে বসে তখন ফার্মগেটটা
আমিও ঘৃণায় মুখ ফিরাই -- পান্থপথ থেকে মিরপুর।

This is rather my boundless blue!
I wish I could tear the whole universe with a cry,
Let the water burst from the parched earth,
By asking so many questions, I ruin the nonchalant
Spectators seemingly above any question!
Tell me why are you piercing the point of a plough
Into the bruised blonde ground?
Tearing the bright wings of a butterfly,
The irresistible greed makes them fly.

The long five years that I've been waiting,
Money is sweeter than the touch of darling,
With this revelation, you crushed all my convictions.
Why did you swear to stay with me without wanting to?
The request for grace was two or three words without vibe!
Did it get started after the demolition of a complete woman?
The disaster begins, as I call for clarification,
You, the fickle city, attack me in a challenging mood,
Spread your legs like the vulture, when you're at Farmgate,
I turn my face into pure hatred - from Panthapath to Mirpur.
