I have written these things,
To whom believe in Christ;
The Son of God that clings,
In being sacrificed.

This is so you may know,
To have eternal life;
And that the blood would flow,
Giving hope from the strife.

This is the confidence,
That we have before Him;
That will build a defense,
With His spiritual vim.

So, whenever we ask,
Anything of His will;
He hears us of the task,
To incite and instill.

For if we know He hears,
To whatever we need;
We will know that He steers,
Whence we sincerely plead.

If someone commits sin,
Not resulting in death;
But corrupted within,
Ask God to give new breath.

Have the person confess,
It is good for the soul;
A new life God will bless,
Comfort Him to console.

Unrighteousness is sin,
Not all sin causes death;
For new life to begin,
Must have eternal breath.


All have been born of God,
Born of God but sins not;
If you honor and laud,
No temptations are sought.

This is an evil world,
Where we are living in;
As temptations are hurled,
Seeks us to commit sin.

Guard yourself from idols,
To live eternally;
For the mind that idles,
To become hellishly
